Mobile Museum of Art will host local artists and artisans for the last Night Market before a summer break. Night Market is an event hosted by MMofA showcasing makers, artists, artisans, and craftsmen who make locally-sourced, handmade goods. Aprilís market will feature vendors with specialties in handmade ceramics, textiles, soaps, jewelry, edible goodies, and more. Additional fun includes great food and drink from Benís Burga Kaboose food truck, coffee from Fairhope Roasting Company, the DJ stylings of Neil Byrne aka Hot Lobster, and live music from banjo and ukulele duo, the Bailiwick Brothers. Children can participate in a fun spring activity with members of the Museumís Education staff as well. For the adults, MMofA will be offering beer and wine by donation. MMofAís galleries will also be open, and visitors can check out the special exhibitions COMMON GROUND: Photographs of Mobile & Havana, do it, HOUSTON ARTISTS: Gestural and Geometric Abstraction, and NO CHILDíS PLAY: Children in the Holocaust.
